Pulse 360 Built for busy cardiologists.

Pulse 360 is a web app built for the specific needs of cardiology clinics. Medical staff can access patient information, schedule appointments, prescribe medication, and write notes while monitoring their patients’ pacemaker data in real-time. Built to replace a clinician’s convocomplex workflow, we designed an all-in-one solution focused on convenience and speed. The overall goal was to give staff more time away from their screens so they could focus on providing stellar patient care.

A medical logo design

Going into the branding I knew that the logo had to have a clean and modern aesthetic which inspired trust. The design of the logo stemmed from the look and feel of medical charts while maintaining an organic human element to the shapes.

Monitor patients anywhere

A huge pain point for cardiologist and their staff is the amount of time they have to spend on administrative tasks. The hierarchy of features was a primary design constraint to ensure quick access to tools at a glance.

Accessible on any device

Careful considerations were taken when building out the design system to ensure the interface would respond to different screen sizes and accommodate device accessibility settings.

Imagining a patient app

We began designing a patient facing app after learning from clinicians that preventative care is vital for long term outcomes. The app integrates with the clinic’s EHR and patient’s existing smart devices giving users a platform to monitor and improve their health.

What I learned

Remote work requires a higher level of collaboration than working in the same physical space with clients or coworkers. This enhanced collaboration helped me gain a clearer understanding of the creative process needed to produce impactful work.
